About Us

The Nook started with a simple idea: taking care of your home shouldn't cost the earth.

We're a family-run, eco-friendly shop born and based in Calgary, Alberta. You'll find us inside the Calgary Farmers' Market at two locations - South and West - where we've built a little corner for people who want cleaner products, less waste, and a friendlier way to shop.

The Refill Station

At the heart of The Nook is our refill station. Bring your own bottle, fill up on the cleaning products you already love - hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, all-purpose spray and more - and skip the single-use plastic. Refilling costs less than buying new every time, and every bottle you reuse is one less in the landfill.

More Than Cleaning

Alongside our refill bar, we curate a growing collection of low-waste and lifestyle goods - natural home care, candles, bedding, jewellery, gifts and seasonal finds - chosen with the same care we put into everything we stock.
